What Can I Expect?

Any pest control program is designed to control part of the natural world in an un-natural setting. And that setting being your landscaped and watered yard. Even when we try to create a natural setting, we still tend to create an environment that is not the same as nature would make it. Especially with regard to the amount of water we add so that our landscape will look healthy year round.

One of the consequences of our creations is a landscape that is really un-naturally healthy, right down to the bugs. We give them food, in the form of decaying organic matter from leaf litter, compost, pet waste, etc. We give them shelter in the forms of leaf litter, patio slabs, cool decks, water valve boxes, and even the walls of our homes. And then we give them water, and lots of it, at the base of all our plants, from irrigation, and our pet bowls, and even our swimming pools.

To survive bugs need food/water To survive bugs need shelter

There are a couple of things every bug needs to survive: food, water, and shelter... which we provide in abundance. If just one of those three could be eliminated, there would be no bugs. But, since very few of us are willing to make those adjustments to our landscape designs, we will always have pest bugs.

Flying insects are the exception of the that last statement. If the flying pest originates from somewhere other than your property, we can’t do much about it. If they are coming from your yard, we can probably help, but will usually need lots of co-operation from you.

What pest Control Can/cannot do

FIRST AND FOREMOST, female scorpion with baby scorpions on backno pest control program can totally eliminate all bugs from your environment. We can eliminate certain species, but not all pests. The pests that can’t be eliminated may at least be controlled. After all, what makes most bugs into pests is a matter of how many bugs there are. A few ants working in your yard may not be pests, because they don’t come inside, and they aren’t in an area where people are likely to get stung. Once they move inside, or to your patio, they become a pest. How much control we achieve will depend on a variety of factors, sometimes including your co-operation, giving the program time to work, and your personal tolerance for bugs. You will normally notice an improvement right away, but sometimes it may take a week or two. Your technician will tell you what to expect at your home or office. If, after that period of time, you have not seen the improvement we explained, we would expect you to call us back for a free follow up service. In some situations, it is normal to need a follow up or two. As long as you call within your guarantee period, the follow up visits are always free.
